Alone In The Dark 2

The game Alone in the Dark 2 for Panasonic 3DO is a continuation of the first part of the game Alone in the Dark.

The game takes place three months later, after the actions in the first part of the game. In the courtyard of 1924, all actions will take place in California in a house on the ocean and its environs.

Everything happens just on Christmas Eve. Private investigator Edward Carnby and his buddy Ted Stryker are investigating the kidnapping of little girl Grace Saunders. The investigation leads them to an old mansion infamous as the “Devil's Kitchen” (Hell's Kitchen), the house belongs to the one-eyed Jack-Pirate ringleader of the criminal gang and smuggler. 

By coincidence, Ted Sticker goes in search of an eight-year-old girl on her own, where he is killed by a clown doll. Now Edward Cairnby is obliged to save the kidnapped child and figure out this simple matter, in which supernatural forces are again involved. But this time, zombies and other evil spirits have become much smarter. 

The gameplay has changed more towards shooting and fighting than puzzles.
