Out of This World is Another World in North America, a 1991 cinematic platformer action-adventure game designed by Éric Chahi and published by Delphine Software.
The 3DO port was developed by Interplay in 1993. The soundtrack of the game was once again changed from its original. There is also a mini-game "Stalactites" (Stalactites). There are also some more differences, including hidden ones.
The legendary game Another World for Panasonic 3DO is one of the best versions of this game for game consoles. The game takes place presumably in 1997, young scientist physicist Lester Knight Chaykin arrived in his underground laboratory at his Ferrari 288 GTO. Continuing the experiment on particle acceleration, which would repeat the same thing as when the Universe was born. Despite the bad weather conditions and thunderstorm, he continued his work. But by coincidence, while already at the very end of the experiment, a lightning strike into the laboratory. Creating an alloy of particles and an explosion, opening a portal in space and time, teleporting Lester to a mysterious and barren planet.
In the US, the game came out under the name Out of this World, in order to avoid confusion with the soap opera of the same name Another World. Around the same time, Out of this World!
In Asia, the game was called Outer World.
